About Merola

Merola, established in 1885 in Rome, holds the distinction of being the oldest designer brand carried at Recall Clothing. The gloves are still manufactured at the same workshop in Campania (Naples), overseen by the fourth and fifth generations of the Merola family. Every pair of gloves is created using traditional Italian techniques, ensuring exceptional quality and global recognition. Highly skilled artisans meticulously hand-cut and hand-stitch each piece of leather. A dedicated team of six local artisans collaborates on the leatherwork, stitching, cutting, and sculpting processes to achieve the enduring design that defines Merola.

Merola was founded in 1885 in Rome, Italy. Today, the gloves are still made in the same workshop in Campania (Naples) where the fourth and fifth generation of the Merola family is taking care of this Italian Jewel.

Crafted in Italy using authentic techniques, Merola gloves are of the highest quality and much sought after all around the globe. Every single piece of leather both hand-cut and hand-stitched by some of the world’s most skilled craftsmen and craftswomen. To create just one pair of gloves, six local artisans are required to work on the leather, stitching, cutting and sculpting to create the classic Merola design.

Do you offer specific garment fits?

I understand how important it is for garments to fit every figure perfectly. That's why I offer a wide range of styles and cuts. Slim, tapered and straight bottoms. Oversized or tailored tops.
